18\'s or 19\'s

im looking at buying some new alloys for my fd3s and im stuck between 18\'s and 19\'s. My car has been lowered 40mm, would 19\'s go on there ok??? i have seen 18\'s on most rx\'s so wot do peps recommend

i still dont know what to go for? any feedaback from anyone??? please!!!!! most have got 18s that i have seen anyone got 19s on theres??

Depends what you want mate, 18\'s will go on straight, and so will 19\'s.

18\'s for a better handling car, 19\'s for something a bit showy\'er........if your car isnt kitted then maybe it might look too rollerskate\'ish with 19\'s.

im really not sure wot 2 go 4, mainly gona b a show car but wanna use it 4 track days every so often aswell, gona get a full kit for it aswell eventually, of course tyres are gona cost a bit more for 19s aswell, so with the car lowered 40mm will both 18s and 19s go on no problem??

Yea no probs, 19\'s will fit.

If you are wanting show, then get the 19\'s, but if u wanna do some trackdays, keep the wheels you have, smaller wheels will be better for the track.

I have 18\'s on mine, and its been lowered on Bilstein adjustables all round, and i have no probs.

SWT do some nice 18`s mate, hopefully i will be taking mine down end of this week to put some 18`s on, the volks on mine would prolly look better on urs than mine but there only 17`s and need a referb atm.

im not sure which wheels to go for 2 b honest, might have a good look around, i went down 2 south west a few months back, trouble is the ones i wanted they only did in 7.5 wide which isant really enough for a rx.

ive got 7.5 wide rims on my rx with 225 fronts and 245 rears...plenty....

Bear in mind this is with stock suspension i was a little disappointed they didn\'t even nearly fill the arches. Personally i\'d go for the 19\'s...!

they look very nice mate, i dont usually like 3 spokes on other cars but they look really good on a rx. Mine has been lowered 40mm so 18\'s might fill the arches a bit better, will ahve to look into it more, cheers for the pic.
