Where to go from here tuning wise?

Hi.
Slowly but surely, i\'ve slowly been building the engine up and its hopefully getting mapped this week by Ross @ Dragon.

However, i\'m kind of at a loss with what to do to the engine next performance wise, other than going for a large single.

At the moment, the current spec is as follows;

Non-sequential turbos (done properly, with the wastegate ported, butterflies removed etc)
Re-Amemiya Induction Kit
HKS downpipe
FMIC
Dragon De-cat
Aftermarket cat-back
Power-FC
AVC-R Boost controller
Magnecor Leads
Underdrive pulleys with no air pump
Bosch 044 Fuel pump
And whilst not really performance increasing, an uprated radiator

The only other things I can really think of, would be an upgraded ignition and larger/extra injectors? Would it need additional mapping after upgrading the ignition? Also, what do you guys suggest for injectors wise - Larger injectors, or additional ones? What are the pros/cons of each?

Cheers

Freddy

Larger injectors would work better for the \'atomisation\' of fuel as opposed to additional injectors.

What clutch are you using, is your ast still plastic? Keep with reliability at all times.

Welsh Dan

It had an ACT uprated clutch put in just after xmas, so that should hold up ok.

Donato

Your mods are very very similar to mine mate. I did get an aluminium ast as freddy suggest above, i have left mine at that and moved onto suspension (tein flex) and now im doing the brakes (soon to have porsche big reds), when you make it faster you might as well get the car to handle the new speed better....

You have this the wrong way round, smaller injectors allow for better atomisation.

Sorry, what I was saying was; upgrading and replacing the existing injectors to larger than stock sized ones would work better for the atomisation of fuel. As opposed to adding additional top feed  Or am I wrong?

DRAGON

That is wrong, smaller injectors run at a higher pressure will atomise better than larger injectors run at a lower pressure.

Freddy

so is it more advantageous to stick additional injectors like in the picture below than to uprate the existing fuel system?

Rgds

DRAGON

Yes, but it is not the most convienenent or cheapest way to do it, thats why most people go for massive secondarys.
