Just back from Pips !!

Well spent most of the day at WGT. Got home at 5 o\'clock :rolleyes: and it is running much better than on the rebuild boost of 0.5bar. Still got some problems with my boost controller, the boost sensor is really good on the pfc add-on, but the boost controler is naff ! Now running with bigger injectors, bigger pump as well as the other goodies !

Running at 0.85ish (hard to tell from the graph - damn boost controller !) and getting about 240 ib/ft torque and 280bhp at the wheels.

Very happy with the results. Definately a step in the right direction. Feels so much stronger and smoother.

Extremely nice engine from pip. It has stock porting and stock twins

Now time to find a profec B controller

Pip was showing me my problem with the boost controller. He called up adrians car (partly because i asked :p ) to see what the difference is. He deleted adrians curve and then printed it out. His twin setup was alot smoother after 4k ! Thats why the curve goes upto 305bhp. Thats was adians car !

Showed me mine compaired to the cosmo shown last week. OMG that has so much power with a little bit of boost !

We got 240bhp ATW with only 0.6 bar !

If i get the boost controller i may be able to get very close to 300bhp bhp ATW

Whats the % loss through all the bits between the flywheel and the wheels

Its alot faster if you get the gear change right, just so strong and smooth. Hope my clutch can take the extra grunt !

Will reconmend anybody close to WGT to get tuned with him, the dyno is fantastic peice of kit. Regardless of the car !

Come on, at least i stand a bit of a chance at beating somebody down the strip :p. Will be the first time i\'ve atually had a go !

What kind of times should i be aiming for ??

The time to beat is 12.71 thats the record for stock twins, held by ANT from 2002. Thats the one I\'m after. See you on the 1/4, BRING IT ON.:cool :wave

Its hard to say what i\'m looking for. TBH its just a bit of fun, so looking for under 14 seconds.

I\'m surprised how you get 1.4bar out of the stock twins to be honest. Thought that there was no point in pushing them pass 1 bar because all they becomes a cycle of hotter less dense air the more you increased the boost ! Must be a hell of alot of cooling from a charge cooler !

It\'s a combination of a lot of things, but the main cooling at 1.3 bar is the water injection.( It kicks in at 0.8 bar ) We maxed out the turbos so we now know what there top end is.
You should get into the 13\'s. I\'ve only done 5 runs myself so it\'s all new to me as well. I will see you at RS11 and we can have a good chat.:wave

Ah right, the water injection. Must make alot of difference on the temps, makes a very impressive setup. Would love to have a proper chat with you on monday, your rx7 definatly rocks ! After reading the stuff from the j-tuner session !

Really happy with the results upto now. God all the work to get to this point has been well worth it. Happy to get pip to do the work on my injectors and the pump. Wouldn\'t want to mess with the fueling myself !

Lots of hard graft (and lots of advice from sdminus) to get to this point. Bl**dy hell is it quick. Haven\'t taken anybody else out in it yet though !

Just need to try and smooth the graph out a bit more ! Roll on 300bhp ATW
