Anyone been to Bonsai cars recently

Hi all,

Wondered if anyone down south had paid a visit to Bosai Cars recently, as they are advertising a 95 R2 with rebuild by RX Heaven.
If anyone has seen it, what was it like,as it may save me a trip down if its a bad one.

 I know RX Heaven engine are built to a very high standard (I have there cannonball car)

Thats a very kind offer, i was hoping we have a few members near to Southamton who may have been down there recently.

Sods law really, as i have just moved from down South.

The reply i got from Bonsai was.

The engine re-build was carried out by RX Heaven in the UK and is warrantied for 12 months or 12 000 miles.  With the bumper, it is normal practice during shipping to loosen it so no damage occurs - it is particularly low.

The bit about the bumper is because i noticed on the pictures that the panel gap betwenn headlight cover and bumper was larger on one side than the other, but that may have been due to them only just putting it back on.

But i would like to get a closer look at the entire car, not so easy when i now live 400 miles away

If no one else has seen it, then i may take you up on your kind offer.

Hiya Nik, seen your post regards the above car. I would be glad too help you out in anyway with regards this car. Tell me what you have in mind, eg someone just too look over it or a real in depth look under bonnet etc.

I have owned my RX7 for over four years now so I more or less know what I\'m looking as for condition etc, and all the driving quirks.

Is the car at the above address that Kieron has posted, if so this is a 15minute walk from my house or a 3 min blast with the Rex .

Thats excellent, thanks very much, just need some one to go down and have a good look over it, test drive, make sure its what they say it is i.e 95 r2, and no bits falling off or going knock knock bang
Thier storage depot is at Netley.
Just my bad luck i moved way up North from the New Forest, cuz all the imports are down there, not a lot up here
If you let me know when you could go i\'ll arrange it with Bonsai as viewing is appointment only.
