So Andy P furnishes me with some NGK BUR9EQ spark plugs bought from the states, and I give all four to Mazda for my 6k service today. They fit two of the 9s as trailing plugs but specified that I should get BUR7EQPs for the leading plugs. I know different plugs have different temp ratings and the level of your mods make a difference, but as I\'ll have decat, cat back, alu oversize std intercooler, Apexi PFC and extra cold air ducts into my std airbox have Mazda got this wrong ?
Should I go 9s all round ??

Cheers,

Mart.

If you do town driving, 7 s in the leading are better to prevent the dreaded flooding.

Go with all four 9\'s. If your planning ion upping the boost then use 2x 10\'s and 2x 11\'s

Mazda dealers may know a little more about the rotary engine now that the RX-8 is about, but before that they didnt know much!!!!

Go with 9\'s alround and you shouldnt have a problem.

Cheers for your replies Gents, I\'ll get the two 7s swapped for the two new 9s I have when my car goes to see Clive in June before the Japshow at the Pod weekend. Hopefully the weather will be good, decided we\'ll camp this year, it\'s just always so bluddy windy up there !!

Cheers,
