Guys,
i really hope you can help me:

between 3000 and 4500 rpm the recirc valve appears to be constantly open whether im on full or part throttle,
does anyone have any ideas what it could be?
It seems to function fine during the second turbos rpm range

Sounds about right, your recirc valve opens while the secondary turbo is pre-spooling. When you hit 4500rpm, the charge control valve lets the boost from the secondary turbo go off to the IC and the charge relief valve shuts. The charge relief valve shouldn\'t really be audible tho, have you got after market induction?

nope all standard, i had an valve to atmosphere on before hand, when i first put it on it was silent until i took my foot off the throttle, then vented to atmosphere, but last night it started venting when accelerating  as if the valves open between the entire range of 3000 - 4500

That first one sounds like the dump valve, that vents when the manifold is under vacuum i.e. when the throttle closes during a gear change. There\'s a second valve, the charge relief valve which vents the boost generated by the secondary turbo when it pre-spools between 3000rpm and 4500rpm. There\'s two pipes coming from your Y-Pipe and going to the airbox, the one further back is the one you\'re after. Check if it\'s been rubbed through or loose.

will do when i get home, will let you know how i get on
