Im thinking of removing my front number plate holder and was wondering how it is removed?
I have attached a picture of it to show what type it is.
I am being a bit lazy as I could go and just remove the number plate and look myself. Just wondering who has already done this and how they did it. An can it be easily be put back on?

Cheers

My car didn\'t have one when I bought it, but I can garantee that when you remove it you will have holes in your bumper that will need filling!!
the other thing to think about is where your going to mount the plate after?? a standard GB plate in place of it looks gay, and if you put it on the lower valance it can disterb the air flow through the rad & intercooler as I found out!!
One thing you could look at is a plate the same size as the motor cycle rear plates (55mm tall by 200mm wide) and mount it across the joint in the lower valance. Just done that to mine and it looks a dam site better that a standard plate!!

Mine was fixed with 4 pot rivets, easy enough to get off and covered the holes with vinyl plate.

Removing a vinyl plate would be an easy job. all you need to do is eather poor boiling water over it or heat it with a hair dryer/Hot air gun to soften the glue, peel it off and then any glue left behind can be rubbed off with some petrol on a cloth:)

If you need a plate made up for the front of the car I could nock one up for you useing the proper reflective backing, probably be about £10 deliverd. all you\'ll have to do is clean the area it\'s to sit on peel off the backing and put it on like a normal sticker.

let me know if this interests you,

Will do mate. It won\'t be for a few of weeks though as the car is heading south to be sorted. Its going to be gone for 2 weeks as of the 14th.
