Just collected my car from WGT.

Looking at the Dyno sheet I thought 291bhp at the flywheel was pretty good until Pip quickly corrected me that this was an at the wheels figure and needs to be corrected for a flywheel figure so I\'m pretty chuffed.:)

Not bad for the original 64000 mile engine!

Many thanks once again to Pip and Dave for a top quality job.

New large intercooler seems to be working really well plus the usual stuff really,Apexi ECU,HKS intakes.Although the engine is still original the turbos have been changed at some point and I\'m not sure what spec they are. Will have too do some digging on that one!

seems like a good figure for the mods youve got there :D you must be happy with that!

JamesFD3

Yup,happy with that James! has stripped interior,no stereo and speakers etc, lightweight Recaros and full cage, aircon and airpump etc have been removed plus loads of other bits removed to save weight so it goes really well for the power.Don\'t need them anyway as the car only gets thrashed around tracks:D

Yup - Dynopack is working fine,Dave said they had a few minor teething problems when it first went in but it\'s fine now.

Very impressed with this kit, allows for very accurate tuning. It feels very quick from 4000rpm compared to before, the boost graphs showed the boost was fluctuating on the second turbo caused by the wastegate,a few tweaks and the final plot shows the boost delivery is very smooth and linear and the power feels very strong now.

Cheers Dan! spent loads on it over the winter, intercooler,RAYS bumper etc.

Yea, i noticed the new additions mate straight away......good power aswell, whats 290 at the wheels.....about 340 at the fly??

290 * 1.18 = 342.2

Dan Norton

That was a good guess by me then :D

18% transmission loss then?

scooby_si

surely if it\'s 18% loss you should divide by 82 then multiply by 100 to get what it is at fly so 354+ ponies?
Si (dunno about the power stuff but i am a statistics freak http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008_ZNxdm46052GB\' target=\'_blank\'>http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/3/3_3_1v.gif\' border=0>)
