Qucik question....Anyone know how to take the a pillar trim out?

I\'m just in the middle on my stereo install.....and i need to take the a-pillar trim out so we can get the wires down there for the sunvisor monitors.

Is there a particualr way you take they out, or is it just a big yank on them to pull them out??

Any help would be great thanks.

theres usually a load of trim clips on the back ... be warned they usually break when you take them off, used a thin metal ruler to apply force close to the clip when I took a load of trim out of the rx the other year.

I\'m not certain on an FD though, can you not pull back the door rubber to get to the back of the trim ?

Cheers mike....yea, just found that out.....i\'m not gonna take them completely off....just tuck the wire down them.

if i struggle, i\'ll use your method.

Sorted mike....just pulled them at the side slightly and tucked the wire down them.....i wouldnt want to take them off all together.....looked a right job

Got mine off by squeezing my fingers behind and then gently tugging at them until I ended upside down at the other end of the car lol!! They were quite tough to get off but seem pretty rubust and didn\'t snap! Bit like the triangles above the doorcard!;)

haha...well done mate....i was terrified incased i snapped them, so i didnt pull on them anymore.
