Just had a new set of tyres delivered, dropped the car off at the local kwik-fit (they were the cheapest) and watched as they took the 1st wheel off. In the process of removing the tyre they managed to snap the valve.

To their embaressment and my much not needed annoyence the valve i need to replace the broken one is an extended u-valve. Kwik-fit cant get them nor any garage in the whole of Worcs, typical. Anyone have a spare? or know where i can get hold of one? Its a 10mm hole and the type of valve has a 90degree bend in it, can always drill the hole if any one has a larger one.

Any help much much appreciated, car just dosent look the same with the space saver lol CHEERS ADAM

hi mate,
i have an 89 t2 vert and it\'s an import an the japanese wheels have that valve on it as i had the same problem trying to get one so they put a normal valve on it but if it got flat i had to take the wheel off to get to it.
i might have one sitting in my small spares bin in the garage i\'ll see if i can find it an it\'s yours.

Oh that would be fantastic if you have :D  is such a pain having to take the wheel completly off to check the pressure or blow it up WHAT A NIGHTMARE lol
