Hi All, just as a point of interest, i am in talks with a friend of mine who is in the process of taking moulds of the centre consul, fan and stereo plastic and dash binnacle + driver\'s door plastic with the intention of making REAL carbon fibre covers. If all goes well with mine, he will look at supplying more. This guy is good by the way, he works for a supercar company in the UK, if i could tell you who i would, but the whole car is made of carbon so he knows his stuff. Have no idea on costs as yet but it would be no where near £400 of the mazda speed (carbon look) stuff. If anyone would be interested please mail me with your interest/thoughts on the matter.

Would be interested, but it does depend on the price.

the interior wouldnt look good without a carbon bonnet, so you can all use that as an excuse to get one:rollin

Matt

i would be very interested as my dash and center consoles look very worn

Hmmm, do you think he\'d be able to do the rear under spoiler thingy for less than others asking price.

I suppose I\'d need a mould of one first tho...

Do you mean the abs plastic type thing under the bumper, anything is really possible with carbon, the only problem you have is to make a one off, tooling costs are high so to make one only means all the costs are added on to the one job, if more are wanted it can be spread out over a quantity of the one item(if that makes sense). Keep posting interest and i will see whats wanted and then go from there.

It could be done yes, but he would need one to take a mould from however.
