Hi all,

I\'ve just bought Drgonzo\'s silver FD and am after some advice please.

It\'s done about 1k miles since a rebuild at rxmotors and goes really well,  but are there any checks to make after the running-in period ie. re-torque any nuts/bolts etc?  It\'s had an oil change.

Also, I\'m gonna change the gearbox and diff oils,  is it Redline MT90 in both?  Does anyone know what quantities?

Am gonna change the tyres too,  265/40/17 on the rear,  thinkin about eagle f1 gsd3, Toyo proxes or Bridgestone S03,   what tyres do you guys use and recommend?

Thanks,

:D      Trev.

I think usually the running in period is 3k but after 1k should be well on its way. The oil change is usually after 600miles so thats done, once it does 3k change the oil again and tht should be that.

Once its completed the run in might be an idea to get it mapped. Will improve full economy (slightly), improve performance and more importantly peace of mind!

Good idea to change oil after 2000 miles, then every three after that....

Used to have S03\'s, i now use Toyo\'s not much in them to be honest both pretty good tyres. Both very good in the wet, or is that just my great driving.. :p

Cheers
