the last week or so my wipers have started squeaking, changed the blades still there, so I lifted the wipers & operated them & its still there, I\'m guessing the linkage needs greased or is the motor on its way out??

Cheers

hey bud

My wipers were doing the same. Speak with Donato, he sorted mine out just after Christmas, seems the mechanism gets full of crap and needs taken apart and cleaned/greased! Mines was proper fooked but Donato had a spare one is his \'aladdins cave\' ;)

Hi Gerry,

I think we shall have to avoid scottish meets in future as they seem to catch the same \'colds\' of each other! ;)

Basically its the the mechanism thats the problem, the linkage turns the shaft that the wiper is bolted onto. This shaft turns in a nylon sleeve which acts as a bearing, you need to dismantle this and clean it all up as it gets full of crap, the problem is you cannot use normal grease as this causes the nylon to expand and defeats the purpose, a good clean up will do.

If this isnt to clear then give me a phone as its easier to explain by phone. I will pm you my number.

Cheers
