fuel problem

hi ive just put all new silicon hoses in the rats nest and taken out the ouble throttle since then my engine stinks of fuel  very badly i have no fuel leaks visible i have checed all hoses r tight i just need any ideas maybe i put the 3 fuel lines on the wrong way please please please can anyone help or is it because i removed the double throttle :rolleyes:

Did you touch the "puge control" solenoid?  This draws fumes from the fuel tank and dumps them into the UIM.  It is connected to one of the 3no.fuel pipes under the ABS unit, then to a plastic catch tank under the intake elbow, then to the solenoid behind the alternator, then to the UIM via a check valve... phew  :confused:
