Hi there ;o)

I have just bought new rearlight clusters for the FD and was wondering, is it the glass itself that is orange or is it the bulbs ?? I am asking because no bulbs came with the rearlights and if it is the bulbs that is orange I will have to buy a pair of those ! Thank\'s.

It depends on the type of lights you have boughts. I am going to assume they are Lexus style with clear lenses, so you will need to get 2 x amber 382 bulbs and 4 x red 380 bulbs for tail/stop. Autobulbsdirect.com will have what you are looking for.

Hi Jin ;o)

Thank\'s ! ya you are right, it is the lexus style, but not the bling bling Altezzas ! it is the Sonar\'s, I will post a picture of them here, is it still the bulbs you suggest that I will need then ?

yes, you will need exactly  the bulbs I told you for the light units. I have no idea what is needed for the centre section though.

or if you want silver looking bulbs which flash orange then philips silvatec i think it is are usually the best for side indicators & fronts (at least on scoobies etc) not sure but i\'m sure they\'d have something suitable for rears too but beyond that i dunno.......

Thank\'s guys ;)

I can understand I need amber bulbs for the blinkers, but why do I need red bulbs for the brake/rear light, I mean, the glass itself is red so normal clear bulbs would do here, or am I totally wrong ?? I asume it is the glass itself on the stock rearlights that is coulured and the bulbs is clear ??

Hiya Rene, I have the exact same lights as yourself mate. You will need amber bulbs for the indicators and just the ordinary clear bulbs for side/stop lights. The bulbs you already have in the original light clusters will do the job.
You could try the silvatec bulbs for indicators as Si suggested this will give you a better look from the rear. They look silver but flash amber. As for the middle bit just use the original bulbs again this will do the job for you.

Hope this helps you out Rene, best regards Leigh.

Hello Rotorboy65 ;)

Thank you very much mate, this was just the information I needed ! I will look for amber bulbs for the indicators and re-use the stock bulbs for the stop/tail/center lights.
