how to take cooling fans appart

anyone know how to remove the fans from the plastic holders, i know there are three screws hold each one in but they dont fit through the hole, it looks like the fins have to be removed from the motors, there is an 8mm nut in the centre of each fan but after removal they still wont come loose, any ideas (going to clean the plastic and paint) dont want to have to mask the fins up,

remove the nut in the center of the fan impellor. remove the impellor. remove the 3 bolts on the motor end shield. it ill then drop out. remember which way round they are tho.

ive removed the nut in the centre, but the impeller doesnt come loose,

If the center nut is removed then hold the back of the impellor with the cowl off the floor and tap the shaft lightly with a nylon mallet. or lever it off with even pressure on either side of the impellor back plate. It will come off.
