Col

hi everyone,

just thought I would add my two pence worth about DRAGONS,

My engine failed back in september, so phone around a few places for quotes and collection of my car.

Quickly found that dragons was offering me more for my money and also a little cheaper. (I know cheaper is not always the best.)
Anyway car collected and off  it went a week after the first phone call.

Through one thing or another on both sides the car was not ready in time,
mine was work commitments
dragons had problems with my clutch,
But with the messing around dragons offered me a free brand new excedy clutch. also offer a decat pipe which I turned down.

At the end collected the car late november, the guys down there were really friendly and a really smart set up. (Did not recieve a coffee on the first vist though!!!)

Took the car off, for the first 500miles, took it easy to run in engine. At this point found a small oil leak coming from the sump area. Nothing to bad, called DRAGONS which Ross was really cool and would sort it next time I was down at the 1000 mile point.

Around 700 mile of the new engine want to open her up and take it in the 6000rpm, on a trip down the A507 some found it stuttttttttering between 4000-6000rpm, phone DRAGONS again and was down there three weeks later.

DRAGONS spent two days soild on the car replacing all the vacuum hoses, (this time was offered two cups of tea!
:) ) Again I was really impressed with set up and the professionalism of the DRAGONS outfit. Came to pay, at which point could of quite easy been ripped off, as I really thought I was going to have to pay, was told that there would be no charge as the first service is in on the rebuild. Also was going to have a catch tank put on, again GREAT advice from DRAGONS not to bother and save my money. How ever did not have the time to sort out the oil leak, as the sump would need to come off.

Took the car home again, O my god like a new car no sutttter, had a smile all the way home.

Just to sum up as I have read some bad reports about DRAGONS, I live in Bedfordshire and would do the 440 mile round trip everytime to vist them found them really profesional and a top outfit. Always there on the phone and the after care is fantastic. Guys use DRAGONS with confidence.

Big shout to ROSS, MONKEY and all the boys of DRAGONS thank you.

Look forward to coming down again, and can not wait to see the demo cars running.

Hi Gurj,

Under advice from dragons that it easy for the first 500 miles then vary the RPMs, problems was a broken valve and vacuum hose.
