ok how about the auto box in the mk2? any good or is it a weak link?:confused:

if you want to attempt a rebuild yourself dependin on what parts need replacing you are looking at between £400 (just apex seals and Oil Control rings) to about £1100 for housings and all seals (these prices may vary depending on where you get the bits)

yea would always do it myself;)  dont trust any garages after previous encounters:mad:

£1100 aint to bad for everything:)

my main concern is getting it re registerd as a 1.3:(
