Cars for Sale / found a cosmo on pistonheads
June 29, 2014, 09:51:00 AM
it needs something on the front bumper looks bare compared to the rest of the car (carbon splitter) maybe a colour change to pearl white what do you guys think of colours id like to add it originally was dark blue from factory not sure due to it being a mecha gozira build. maybe that they had it red if so it will stay red.
the body work needs tlc as its been marked here and there.

im also looking for info ref these models apparently there was 6 made as a one off..:driving

General Technical / HELP!! Gearbox trouble on my FD
July 10, 2007, 12:04:36 PM
Quote from: rossgalHi, My 93 FD has just started jumping out of 5th gear, it was starting to get hard to get into 5th, and then it wouldn`t, but now it goes in , but has a tendency to jump out!

Is this terminal for the box? Or is there a common problem? Any help most appreciated. Thanks.
it sounds like the detent is more than likely worn/broken this might explain why at first it was difficult to select 5th gear.
now easy and jumpping out of gear sorry does sound terminal possibly a rebuild or secondhand replacement might be your best bet do a find a part on the web i found them very good...

I finally got the engine back together, in the car... all connected up and it started!! :)

Only thing is that the coolant buzzer and light seems to be on all the time?? We filled it up with a load of coolant. Then more, then more, then more. Must be near 7 litres or so.

It seems to be full and not taking anymore. The only thing is that the coolant buzzer/light seems to be on all the time.

I\'ve not taken it for a drive at the moment until I sort this problem out.

Does anyone have any suggestions?? I was thinking possible a dodgey sensor/plug/wire, or something not plugged in properly? Something that\'s hopefully an easy fix.

I\'m gonna check the level again in the morning. But it was full and wouldn\'t take anymore.

Any help appreciated!
