The car looks nice and rare to see a UK spec version, hope you get on ok with buying it if you are still going ahead with the idea.

Hi Dave yep long time no see, I hav\'nt been to any meets for ages local or otherwise. The car is still off the road, yeah I know what a nightmare. Hope to see you sooner than later...........cheers Leigh.

7.0JJ is the width of the wheel, you should look to fit at least 7.5 front and 8.0 upwards on the back. This will give you better options with tyre widthv etc. HTH..........cheers Leigh.

Teighto you can buy power steering leak fixing fluid from most places like Halfords etc. I have never used the stuff myself but when I was buying a new battery a couple of months back for the wife\'s car I noticed it on display.

Not sure how good it is, if your leak is to big it may not work but if it does work it could be a short term fix until you get a new pump etc. The place I saw it for sale was Kimber Frictions they sell good\'s at trade prices even to us the joe-public. Hope this gets you going short term.......cheers Leigh.

3rd generation RX-7's / Emergency Flare???
September 03, 2007, 07:35:51 PM
It is not illegal to have a hand flare in your possesion, but if questioned by the boyz in blue why you have one I expect they would like a valid reason. The flares usually disappear during transit so you would be lucky to get one still in the car.

The company I work for buy and sell flares, smokes and para rockets. They hold the distribution rights for all Hanson pyro products in the UK. Having been on an ADR course myself, I would not advice using any out of date pyro products at all. Believe me I have seen the damage they can do to people just in pictures alone. Not very nice sights. If you get one be very careful if you let it off......cheers Leigh.

General Technical / Dashboard painting again sorry!!
August 25, 2007, 10:33:06 AM
Sorry people I know this one has been done too death:) . But I have finally got around to painting my dashboard bit\'s, after sanding them down nicely. I have a couple of questions, is it best to apply a primer first?. If so should the primer be suitable for plastics?, regards flexing/cracking issues.

Or should I just go for the main top coat colour first?. Also where would the best place be to buy the paint\'s that I need, should I just go to the nearest Halfords or look at proper paint suppliers?. Just out of interest as well how many coats of laquer should I apply, or is it just down to personal choice?.

Hope somebody can help me out many thanks..........Leigh.
