WTF!!! That is immense, cant believe they are still making kits for the old FD

I know steve had one in his car, broke Pips dyno at 777hp! I drove it on the trailer and it was as soft as a standard clutch! Spoke to Ross earlier as need to fit mine for Timeattack in Holland , and he said it takes longer to fit because has custom slaving cylinder or something like that.
I know they were nearly 2k and he is doing them for about £1200, give him a call 01404891888

Carbonetics triple is the way to go, very expensive clutch but Ross at dragon has 1 in stock going at v good price!

I only know as Ive just snapped one up.

I run approx 450 ish bhp, and have just lost 5th syncro but had no other issues until now but on Ross at dragons recommendation am changing my clutch for a carbonetics tripple plate also.

I think he still has one in stock at av cheap price!!

Well I suppose the pros are the better spooling, more unique, look wild in the engine space. Cons are harder to make I suppose, but it doesnt seem as that is a problem as you already have a 20b in there! I only have about 450hp and mine is fast enough, although a few more ponies would always be nice.

I think go for 2 big turbos, looks far more unique, will spool better and be perfect for a weapon like yours!

Yes that\'s what I have the 16s for. Drag Micky Ts. Using and FD gear box so normally in an FD you would be hitting 8500 on or over the line with a 4.1 rear diff. So with my 4.672 rear, FD gear box and 16s I should be in 4th well before the line. If not I can drop the rear tyres to a 15" rim and get some drag tyres on those and I will definately be in 4th going over the line.

I will be launching the car at 5,500 rpm minimum as when I had my FD I was learning where the best point was between wheel spin and bogging. Got to 5,500 after spinning the wheels to take any crap off them and it bogged bad!! Come back towards the staging lanes and my diff was making funny noises so I decided to stop as I had a 2.5 hour drive home.

So 5,500 is where I will build from but I should imagine that I am going to be close to 7,000 rpm launches with drag tyres.

And also my diff ratio can be changed to any of these ratios 3.9, 4.1, 4.4, 4.67, 4.9 and 5.1!!!

i can almost hear Ross firing the die grinder up and attacking some plates, the sizzle of a welder inserting a cage into an FD, and a grinder screaching away removing any uneccessary weight/metal of the chassis.

what boost have you got Robs car up too now? i do believe James was going to be near 2.0 Bar for flame and thunder?

Yeah just nice to get out in the car to be honest, loved the track and was nice too see a lot of rotaries out. Need more track ones as we now seem to be doing in the drag scene.

Had agood ay if not a little long was up at 4:30 to get there. Sorry didnt chat to many people but my car was on the Opie Oils stand so was about there most of the day.

Enjoyed the track session as it was first time Ive driven Coombe. Certainly wont be my last either.
