Yer thats the way I was thinking so the fpr is on the return line? Did you feed it into the hose by the Inlet elbow, just before it goes rigid pipe or disgard that and run a fresh hose around the back?

General Technical / Clutch replacement at home?
November 18, 2009, 08:48:52 AM
I put an Os giken clutch into mine. At home in the garage by myself took a weekend but would recommend you have a hand should bring the time down. And always good to have another set of eyes. If i remember right I only jacked up the front end. As jobs go it wasnt a bad one, little awkward getting the box back in but thats it. Good luck

Make sure the wire is intact and has a good connection on the sensor. If there is a break in the wire the buzzer will be sounding.

General Technical / Injector Kits

Hi all, was just wondering if anyone is using Reworx’s 1600cc injector kit? If they are supplied correctly modified etc. Also if anyone has suggestions of other good kits that would be appreciated.

You running it on the old fuel? Fuel has a very short shelf life. Stick some optimax in it, let it warm up and id be half tempted to give it the limiter to try and get rid of the carbon build ups caused by long idle periods. That would be up to you tho. Sensible things like stated would be compression test or a weekend inspection.

Hi, quite new here, but had all my gearbox out a little while ago to put in the Os giken clutch. I used a fully charged snap on buzz gun for the large nut which was a life saver as I had nothing to hold the flywheel if it didnt work! To get the fly wheel off as previously stated it is on a slight taper. I wound the large nut back on a couple of threads to stop it flying back on my face when it gives. Gave it a technical tap and had a leaver bar on it. Thank god I put the nut back on, it really would have hurt!
