Ok mate. Will see what interest I get in the front bumper.

Ps - Will be interested in deals for any 99spec kit or other polyeurathane stuff to replace this.

I\'d smash this kit up in about 30minutes if I drifted it so is anyone interested in my Bomex kit? Could potentially sell the front bumper on its own as I\'m less likely to smash the sides and rear up, but more interested in it all going first. One lens cover is missing from the front 99spec lights. Just wanting to know if there\'s any interest but could probably get it off the car reasonably quick. Price is whatever a reasonable going rate is, need to do some research to find out.

Just wanted to say a big congratulations to my man Pete Barber who came third at Brands Hatch this weekend. His driving in the Haywards FD was epic as always and amazingly fast. The course was really hard to get right and Pete was a standout. Its the first time a drift competition has ever been held at Brands Hatch so history is being made :D

Looking at a v8 conversion and not sure what people do with the diff and drive shafts. They look quite girly to me so wondered what people do to uprate them?
The car was running 550bhp before and didn\'t seem to have issues with the shafts/diff but the torque comes in a lot sooner with the V8 so it\'ll shock it a lot harder.

Its a good fun track. Its fairly small but that makes it cheap to drive and the atmosphere is really good. Events are always really layed back and enjoyable.

Rob - yes mate, had it done for BDC rd1 because the FD wasn\'t going to be ready and I didn\'t want to drive a trashed looking car any more! you facebook? david monaghan, some more pictures there rather than annoying peeps here with skyline phots :D

M@r]{ and Matt came along for some fun at the Skylineowners National day at Llandow at the weekend. Some good phots here. I\'m driving my Skyline as the FD isn\'t ready yet.

Quote from: Ross;1028933Niall and the JDM crew opened a huge bag of awesome and poured it out all over the Newcastle quayside this weekend!!!  what a weekend, the 2009 drift season has well and truly started!!

Remo and Dan Chapman had one of the most intense battles ive seen with Remo eventually taking the win :worthy::worthy:

the faces in the background give you some idea how badass the battle was:nod:

3rd generation RX-7's / Royals Fantabulous New Cage

Cool, thanks for the detail there. BDC/EDC wont let you run thinner bars even if you did get it homologated. They base their regs on them but not FIA/MSA par se.
I wanted to get the cage done to a high spec so I could enter things like Nippon Challenge if it was a possibility but the drifting is my priority.

Ah right. From what I can find out you used to be able to just build cages to \'blue book\' regs and they\'d only need homologating if you deviated from those standards. It seems they\'ve changed the rules this year and to get official certification all builders have to send a cage to MIRA for destruction along with the obvious costs. It seems that most series are sympathetic to the costs and will make a judgement on the quality of the cage rather than the piece of paper. I wouldn\'t want to be quoted on this though as its only from talking to different people and its not an issue for me and the series I\'m competing in.
