Quote from: \'Mrs M@r{\']If you are near by, or even if you\'re not and it\'s a nice day, you should come along anyway. Without wishing to tempt fate we usually end up a man down due to all sorts .. fire\'s on the way ... or the usual bits falling off cars half way through! It\'s great spectating anyway! :3gears-lh

Its not exactly local for me, but I\'ll try and keep the day free anyway, and come along if I can.

Hopefully see you all on the 15th.

Sounds good, the clutch is on my list of bits to fix. Maybe I should finish it off properly before I change it.

I\'m aiming to make it to Japfest. There\'s the usual list of things to get fixed on the car, if I can get most of it done, I\'ll be there.
Are you there for both days?

I shipped some stuff from the states a few months ago, and the tax was ridiculous, and annoyingly appeared weeks after the parts arrived and were fitted.
I always enjoy having no idea how much something is going to cost when I buy it!

I had a quick search on the site before I posted, but didn\'t find anything. I don\'t supose you\'ve any idea where I should be looking?

Cheers

General Technical / Oil Warning Light
September 02, 2007, 01:13:58 PM
David, thanks for the advice. Its only the oil warning light.
I disconnected the sensor - no warning, reconnected  -still no warning (so far so good) Bad connection perhaps?
As long as the problem doesn\'t come back, I guess I\'ll just leave well alone.

General Technical / Oil Warning Light

Sorry, must have been having one of those days! I meant "oil".
I\'ve checked the connector block X01, and all the connections are fine.
The oil pressure is OK whilst the alarm is sounding.
I was presumming if it was an electrical connection problem that the fault would be more intermittent than it is - it only ever happens when I first start the engine.
I guess now is a good time to pull it all to pieces.
