Quote from: m1tch;588678Honda have created \'rotary valves\' on piston engines, which rotate at the top of the cylnder meaning that a race engine can rev to 25k lol *sigh* lol

saw that on top fuelller drag cars about 15 years ago.

Many aftermaket ASTs leak. I went with the Rotekniks philosophy of replacing the Mazda one every 2 years or so.

2nd generation RX-7's / Rear Roof Spoilers..

Quote from: Retro_Boy_G;567645I feel they belong on VW\'s. Even at that they look really ugly though..

They are not there for style. They are to prevent the front paint being chipped off by stones and gravel. And did you ever go on the motorway behind the gravel lorry?

I expect those guys have to do it a lot more than us.

Function over form in this case.

Old school Mazda's / 1st gen Rx7 - 626/Montrose parts?
December 18, 2008, 07:32:08 AM
You might find some suspension parts are the same, but I cant imagine what else. I was able to buy, from Mazda, ball joints, tie rod ends, etc for the RX-2 not long ago. I think thats because they used the same parts on later cars.

Yes it is twin turbo (didnt I say that already?), the Turbos and control system are the same, but the engines are slightly different - what I dont know, apart from the exhaust ports.
