1st gen Rx7 - 626/Montrose parts?

I\'ve heard some rumours (and they won\'t go away) that there are some parts shared between these cars?

Anyojne got any concrete proof? (Before I go and start taking the 1st gen apart on a quest for info) :mmmm

You might find some suspension parts are the same, but I cant imagine what else. I was able to buy, from Mazda, ball joints, tie rod ends, etc for the RX-2 not long ago. I think thats because they used the same parts on later cars.

When I had my Mk1 I did read that most of the suspension came from the 626\'s but not too sure on the Montrose though. Easy way is too chase the part numbers and see what comes up. I have the parts CD if it helps but I guess you should have one of those.
