Today (9/11/07) at around 8:20, saw it at some traffic lights going on to leatherhead road, looked very clean and had a pretty nice exhaust tone.

i always thought the first turbo boosted 0.8 and the second boosted to 0.6?!?!

Thats what mine is currently doing and always has?

This is with the standard ECU and stuff is it?

Hi mate, yea i had similar problems but im using the standard bose wiring with different amp, i have a couple of them stupid bose cross over / amp style things whihc im sure i won\'t need. Are you going to rotorstock? if so i\'ll give you them there... let me know matey

ahh regarding the squeealing noise, i think i have somehow either used the wrong wires, or somehow the wires have been cut and are earthing on the bodywork somewhere, i\'ll check it out this weekend to see where the problem lies, its somewhere between the door and te car chassis, between the door grommet style thing..  :Talking1

October 24, 2005, 09:43:45 PM
lol, i have no idea if i have removed... could possibly make sense tho..... when i bought it i beleive it has been raced in japan.. its had a new engine rebuild so thats call cool... wouldn\'t suprise me if i have no cat....

washing machines u say.........? maybe thats all he could find to bung the hole up? ;)

So that would normally go down and into the cat?

interesting stuff.....

yea i have no plans of removing the air pump if its doing no harm...

thanks for the help people... i am most grateful :)

Quote from: cjrit is part off the emissions setup for the car.by doing what i said earlier it will just declutter the engine bay, and remove an extra wheel that the engine has to drive.

Just to confirm we are looking at the same bit.....

Cheers.
:)

Excellent thanks!!!!

Erm, it goes into the actual engine bit underneather the plenum, i can\'t see any other wheels or anything, all ic an see is a tube coming out of the plenum going up to that point and having that strange looking tip thing on it....

Edit - ok i jsut re read your post.... ment more sense the second time. so its for the emissions? it just blows out air..... fragrantless... :)

so it will just make the engine bay look neater without it? if thats the case that badboy can stay put... lol

Quote from: cjrgo to the standard airbox. remove the air pump and get a blanking plate kit, pulley kit and then you will be able to forget about it

Oh right, will this improve anything? it looks a bit odd and not very OEM style.....
