Yep, I know I\'m resurrecting a really really old thread here, but I just wanted to know if FlyRX7 (or anyone else) still makes these center speaker gauge pods?

His AOL website seems to have been shutdown, so don\'t know whether he\'s still making these or not.

I\'ve got a thread in the wanted section, but just noticed this one so thought I\'d revive it!!

Does anyone know of any very similar alternatives - for 60mm gauges?

Dude, I\'ve got a pod from FlyRX7 which I\'m selling - its a triple 52mm pod, was only in my car for a week, then the engine blew... so its up for sale cos the car has gone!

Sorry for you mate, not a nice way to get rid of the car, its the one reason why I went to 2nd Gens as they last so much longer and you still get the thrills just the same.

No, no warning at all, no even a noise when it happened, just noticed the rough idle when pulling up to a roundabout.

Happened when putting some space between me and a porsche...  :Giggle

Well, went to see Jason today, and yeah, thrown a tip... just the one though and its likely to still be in place, so hasn\'t been spat out yet...

However, I\'m not going to fix it, its had too much money out of me over the last couple of years and I basically don\'t have the money to put it right...

Luckily, Jason knows just how much has been done to it recently, and the amount of cash I\'ve spent on it, cos he\'s done all the work, so he agreed to take it off my hands..

Just bought myself a little run around too, so I can save some cash over the next few months...

Gutted though.

yep sounds like you chipped a seal dude or you have warped them, hopefully you havent damaged the housing

Very rough, lumpy idle... vac reading is twitching on the boost gauge.

sounds like a V8... Runs OK above 2.5krpm...
Are there any obvious pipes or vac lines I need to check first?

That smell usually means you\'ve slipped it a bit and everytime that will be a little more material gone.  Best not to sit in gear on a hill anyways - handbrake and then just use the clutch for the off.

i\'d be a bit worried about having bare terminals there though..  reach across to get something and...

hahaha! Two points, dude; one, you can never be paranoid enough with a Rex :yes, and two, 270 to reserve light   that\'s an outrage! I\'ve never even got 250 out of mine :mad:

well, it used to get 270, seems to be getting less and less now though... looks like I\'ll have to start filling up at 200miles  

I can never trust my fuel gauge light anyway... the whole thing is knackered

I have an Exedy Organic single plate clutch too, fitted about a year ago, and whilst it still seems to be in perfect working order I\'m always a bit worried about it...

I don\'t rev too high on hill starts or any of the other things clive mentioned, but even after the slightest hill start I can smell the clutch as if its burning... (no smoke though LOL)

Is it normal to be able to smell the clutch under \'normal\' driving conditions with hill starts ?

PS - looking at your pictures - I take it you live alone LOL

best to replace all bits like seals etc i\'d have thought.  You can get kits with all the bits - orings, gaskets, seals, tips etc

On one hand its nice to be able to cool those oil temps down so quickly in the cold, but I\'m always a little wary of booting it too much incase the fueling is being affected too much and it runs lean/rich

I\'m getting far too paranoid these days...
