When I had this problem, unplugging the seat belt connector didn\'t make any difference :(
I bought my relay from Jimmys for about £70 IIRC.

Mine\'s similar to Nick English; Sticker with standard sized letters above the opening. Never been pulled or had so much as an MoT comment :)

General Technical / V8 Shake

As Carl says, it\'s the inertia of the engine (particularly the bits rotating!)
On a big V8 there\'s lots of inertia in the crankshaft and pistons which needs to be overcome when you blip the throttle... and that all gets reacted back through the engine mounts :)

Has it still got the standard ECU? Induction kit + decat + maybe raised boost = detonation :(

I still have bits of mine. It was supposed to be pretty good, but I didched mine as it wasn\'t working. It had 2 part head unit (radio / tape, and CD), and 5 speakers; one in each door, one in the centre of the dash, and one on each side of the boot poking up through the parcel shelf. Each speaker has its own amp instead of one central one, and the speakers are 4 ohm which makes it a bit strange. I\'ve currently got rear speakers next to the rear seats; not impressed with the base, considering reinstating the acoustic wave thing with a pair of 8 ohm speakers driven off a stand alone amp.

Should be able to get something good enough for about £5. As said, continuity buzzer is pretty useful for when you can\'t see what you\'re doing!

Sounds like the F100 relay, under / behind the steering wheel area. Mind did exactly the same.

This has made me think about doing mine as I\'ve got a slow leak. Does the cylinder need to be bench bled? Or do you just connect it all up dry, fill up the reservoir and pump it through?

I paid £330 for a Toad AI606 which has been pretty good; no false alarms, low drain, quite loud.

Quote from: BrambleDo you guys need glasses or can you not fduking read?

I AM AN MOT TESTER. READ MY ABOVE POST.

There is no grey area its ALL in \'in Service Exhaust Emission Standards for Road Vehicles\' thirteenth edition. I just need to finish reading the appropriate segments thats all. NO JDM FD RX7\'s up until august 95 need an MOT - I CAN GUARANTEE THAT. Its the 95 on cars I am interested in.

Fduk me! So my 1993 JDM doesn\'t need an MoT? Don\'t need to worry about fixing my pilow balls then

General Technical / How to mod Seat Rails?
September 08, 2007, 08:34:23 PM
Its easy enough to become a member on FDUK IIRC - just fill in the form on the screen, no ££££. Too much info for me to easily transfer across unfortunately due to my lack of IT skills :(

Have you got the seats out? To find the rivet, shine a torch into the rails, you\'ll see the roller bearings. When you pull the rails backwards, the roller runs into the rivet. If you can visualise the movement of the rollers, you\'ll probably be able to work out where to look for the rivets! PS, I\'d recommend using a Dremel if you have one to clear the swarf from the inside of the rivet hole.
