Hi People..

Although I am getting stuck in on my project car I have small wee problem.. I cannot fit in the car! I was told previoulsy that you can modify the seat rails to make the seat go further back?? Has anyone got a how to for this with some pictures?

Thank you

Still got a spare set of passenger side runners if you want some to practice on, £20 + P&P.

Mave... You need permission.. i.e membership to view the thread you linked to.. Any chance of copying the info across to here if it more than just drill a rivet!

Can\'t see an obvious rivet to drill?

Cheers

Its easy enough to become a member on FDUK IIRC - just fill in the form on the screen, no ££££. Too much info for me to easily transfer across unfortunately due to my lack of IT skills :(

Have you got the seats out? To find the rivet, shine a torch into the rails, you\'ll see the roller bearings. When you pull the rails backwards, the roller runs into the rivet. If you can visualise the movement of the rollers, you\'ll probably be able to work out where to look for the rivets! PS, I\'d recommend using a Dremel if you have one to clear the swarf from the inside of the rivet hole.
