If you\'re desparate, I could possibly find you a NOS OEM one in Holland.
Email me as I am not here that often.

Yes, that\'s right. He has the car but there is an Rx-7 12a in it.

My friend is looking for an original Rx-3 12a AP engine to restore his car.

Running preferred.
Should be at least complete.

Email him at Rx3-S124A@skynet.be

Thanks !

Best way to remove the head is to put in a rotary.

Don\'t seem to be able to see the thread...

I have put a 79 Rx-7 transmission with an 85 12a into my Rx-2. Original driveshaft, original shifter position, engine forward about an inch.
New crossmember from a 1974 Rx-2 (but an Rx-3 one would work just as nice).
Let me know if I can help. I do have some pictures.

Also interested in a 10A engine. Any condition, R100 or Rx-3 version...

Around 1974, US vehicles had to comply with new collision protection rules. The car body had to survive a 5mph collision without damage. That\'s when the heavy bumpers came.

It\'s a standard 10a bumper.
The two protectors were an original Mazda option and are removable.

Hi !
I\'m in Belgium and I am restoring an Rx-3 2-doors (10a version 1972).
I am looking for front and rear bumpers and headlight surrounds and wheel covers.
The parts should be in perfect condition.
Money is waiting.
As my orginal parts are not too bad, if anyone knows of a place to get these parts repaired/restored/rechromed, I would like to hear it too.
Thanks !

Thanks for the help !

I know for sure that the 12a Turbo engine does not use the same rotors as a European 12a. It has lower compression rotors to allow the boost pressure.

Does anyone have a parts catalog for the 82-85 JSPEC 12a turbo engine ?
I want to know the part numbers for rotors, exc. shaft & counter weights (rotating assembly).

If anyone has a VIN for a 12aT Rx-7 or Cosmo (HB ?) this would help too.
If I have a VIN, I can find out the part numbers at Mazda.

Thanks !

My FD3S got a new engine because it was putting out water from around the overflow bottle. It did this only when driving over one hour. Short trips were never a problem.
This was a water seal problem -> pressure on the cooling system.

Is anyone using the HKS F-CON V ?
It\' s a silver (brushed alloy) piggy back computer.
I am not talking about the older black one, nor the F-CON V "Pro" which is currently the biggest competitor for the Power FC in Japan.

I am using one and I have been trying to find out if I have to use the HKS FCD with it or not.
I tried to wire in an FCD but I get bad hesitation if it is hooked up.
Many people tell me yes, you need it but I think they talk about the older F-CON (Black). Others tell that the FCD is integrated in the "V".
