I\'ll definitely be along to some of the Monthly Becketts meets :) Some awesome custom and classic cars there!

Wow! No need to throw your toys out of the pram :2Rolleyes
You\'ve only signed up on here to mention Bassetts Pole. As that was your first post!

Indeed, nobody is forcing anyone to race. Also nobody is forcing anyone to bother going to Bassetts. Lmao!!!!

I was merely stating the facts about what goes on. I\'ve been in the scene for a very long time and know what goes on in what areas, etc. So I don\'t need a newbie coming on here acting a fool just over a simple comment I have made. So, on the contrary... YOU get over it :) Have a nice day.

It\'s not really a meet up there. Just a bunch of people who turn up and a lot of them who race on the A38. Tends to be mostly tin can boy racer cars unfortunately. Basically the remains of the people who used to go to Hams Hall, etc till it got shut down.

This is all true, of course. But there will come a point soon where those that are using internet explorer will get their browser updated automatically and will no longer be able to post on here.
Not sure what exactly is causing it though, as it works on all other vBulletin sites :S

There seems to be a problem on this site with the new Internet Explorer 9...... You can\'t post anything. After submitting the post it gives an error saying "1.The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters." no matter what you try and post. It does it in both quick reply & full reply. But I don\'t get this problem on any other forums :(
(I\'m posting this from Google Chrome, incidentally)

Just checked the fuses. They\'re all o.k. Tried using the radio relay in place of the fuel pump one, but still no luck. There\'s no sound at all coming from the fuel pump when the ignition is on too :(

I was thinking it could be flooded. But the plugs were completely dry an there was no smell of fuel at all, which made me think it would be something else.

My car is over at my mate\'s bodyshop. I dropped it at his house on Monday, he drove it over there on tuesday morning. Yesterday he started it up and moved it in his unit. And tonight, it refuses to start at all.
The petrol was low when I took it to his, but I took a can of VPower over tonight & we put that in. But that hasn\'t solved anything.

The engine is turning over without a problem, but just not firing. Looked at the plugs..... they look pretty knackered so I\'m going to get some new ones in the morning anyway, but they were completely dry. There was no smell of fuel at all from the continued attempts to start it up.

So, we\'re at a bit of a loss as to what has happened, as it was all running without problems till now.

Anyone have any idea what could be going on?

Turns out it actually was coincidental...... A pipe had come off the intercooler. Lol. Kinda mad that it must have happened at more or less the same time!

A couple of weeks ago my backbox got ripped right off by a speed bump :(
Now I\'ve bought and fitted another box, but I now have no boost?

Anybody have any ideas what might have caused this? Does the Apexi have a limp mode? Was thinking if it does, then maybe it switched to limp mode when the backbox was off, as I had to drive it home without the box on.

White detailing goes well with black. Helps set off the rest of the car.

Well, a little update on this.
As the AST top hose had never had a jubilee clip on it, I\'d thought nothing of it till now. Put a clip on it, and did about 80 or so miles the other day, and so far all seems o.k. Will keep checking over a few days usage & see what happens though.

If you are gonna do it yourself, 1 other thing is not to get too eager. Leave at least 20 to 30 mins between the coats of paint.
