There seems to be a problem on this site with the new Internet Explorer 9...... You can\'t post anything. After submitting the post it gives an error saying "1.The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters." no matter what you try and post. It does it in both quick reply & full reply. But I don\'t get this problem on any other forums :(
(I\'m posting this from Google Chrome, incidentally)

Your probably better off with Chrome or Firefox anyway !

This is all true, of course. But there will come a point soon where those that are using internet explorer will get their browser updated automatically and will no longer be able to post on here.
Not sure what exactly is causing it though, as it works on all other vBulletin sites :S

This is being looked into - not by me though!

We have confirmed (in most tests, but not all) that IE9 does not work correctly. This might be sorted later in the year when we (well, Hypothermia, our hard pressed technical Admin on here!) hopes to upgrade to a later version of the VBulletin software. In the meantime, we can only suggest installing Firefox or Chrome and using this when logged on to the forum.

I\'ll also put off my upgrade to IE9 as long as possible! But I do have Chrome and Firefox to use for situations such as this - I\'ve experienced the same issue with some hotel booking sites that don\'t work in IE8, but are fine in Firefox and Chrome...

vBulletin v3 is nearly in to "end of life" phase which pretty much condemns it.
They 2 months back released ( no thanks for being too late ! ) a tool to auto convert the styles so should make it even easier to update, so should be a lot less effort than we\'d faced :)
Some of our custom code failed in IE9 too :( Sloppiness on our part :)
Can likely get some "hands to the pump" when the time comes if assistance required !!
( and yes, a five browser man, but mainly for testing our stuff and because business WE have to worry about he differences between three products from the one supplier ! ( yes MicroShaft IE5,8 and 9 ! )
