Quote from: Markp;877664What a beauty, love the colour, how many miles as she done, I have a Elford Turbo, which is lovingly looked after, you never know we might meet up some time, wishing you all the best, take care of her they are becoming rare.
MarkP

Yeah really plsed with her. Done approx. 4600 miles from new, intend taking her to shows for all to see. In fact, going to Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb for the Retro Rides gathering 31st August - so perhaps see you there ?

Looking nice - even at this very early stage.
I did my 1st restoration 4 yrs ago and like you thought - where on earth do I start ?
Well I just started underneath.
Sorted out the brakes first so it could move and stop.
Then I got onto the bodywork, a bit at a time.

As for hiring of shot blast equipment ?????  Try Hodge Clemco (number on the internet probably), they are a supplier and parts and spares so they hopefully can give you some idea.

Good Luck :Thumbs-up

Quote from: Grant Monkhouse;876139You are going to have to be OCD with the car products to keep it in pristine condition:)

Yeah I\'ll want to keep on top of it for sure Grant but it\'ll be worthy of the effort

It needed a few small jobs to put her right but as close to a new/fresh from the production line as anybody could wish for

I was actually having my white rx serviced and motd and a little cosmetic bodywork to be done but the cost including spraying got me thinking :Hammer.  I knew of this up for grabs so offset the costs and bit the bullet. I\'d already sorted a deal for my other 2 rx\'s so it was a done deal - home she came.
It is to be driven - to shows, meets etc and perhaps a weekend or two away so hopefully you\'ll see her around.

An original set of Elford Alloys which I\'d bought from a fellow member and I had them TWR Chrome powder coated for use on my white RX7 ..... until the Elford turned up that is

Then just had the centre caps to fit when they had been cleaned
