need to know a couple of things.
where can i hire a sand blaster ?
where can i buy aftermarket kits that look similar to stock?

CHC (RIP)

Looking nice - even at this very early stage.
I did my 1st restoration 4 yrs ago and like you thought - where on earth do I start ?
Well I just started underneath.
Sorted out the brakes first so it could move and stop.
Then I got onto the bodywork, a bit at a time.

As for hiring of shot blast equipment ?????  Try Hodge Clemco (number on the internet probably), they are a supplier and parts and spares so they hopefully can give you some idea.

Good Luck :Thumbs-up

Good luck with your restoration. Looking forward to see progress :)
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

ok so i got bored and took the doors off and decided to see what the crack is.
was pretty funny driving around Andover in a FB with no doors on too

so started off with paint stripper

Apeared that there was a lot of filler at the bottom of the door :(

So i started the other door to find even more filler :(

then got the grinder out and looks like it will need to be back to basics

im guessing there is a lot of work to be done here.
also Im worried what is under the paint on the rest of the car:confused:
anyway soldier on as they say....

Bottom of 1st gen doors are always rusty, It hides it quite well even when it hasn\'t been repaired.
