Hi people,  I\'ve been the proud owner of a Rex for the past year but circumstances have forced me to put it up for sale:mad:

I thought I\'d be able to sell her without a problem, had a recent re-build (with invoice as proof) and a respray and the car is a very nice clean example of an RX7 and I believe I am selling her at a cheap price (up for £4750)!

I have had next to no interest, not even many questions about the car.....I know petrol consumption on these is a bit heavy but I am very surprised how the bottom has dropped out of the market, are others experiencing the same issues.

If I don\'t sell her soon, I am going to take her off the road because I ain\'t giving a car like this away for next to nothing :3Confused

Yeah, prices have come down significantly, petrol prices and RX7\'s love of it doesn\'t really help residual values!!!  Look on the bright side tho..... a really nice single turbo that cost 10K 1-2 years ago is only worth 5-7K now

Thanks guys, thought I might have to replace the studs...car had a re-spray 6mth ago so I dont want to push my luck with extra large spacers and rubbing the arches so will get my elf a set of 15mm ones....see how they look front and back and go from there.

I\'m looking for some wheel spacers and don\'t really want to get e bay specials then my wheels falling off!!!

I need 5mm spacers for each front wheel (10mm total)

approx 10mm spacers for each rear wheel (20mm total)

Does anyone know of a good supplier, do I need hubcentric spacers?

Cheers

Car update, picked the car up from London last night and it seems to drive pretty well : )

Will post some picks of her soon, in need of a re-spray and some general tidying up.  I know this question ahs been asked a thousand time but what do you guys think is the most cost/engine friendly oil to use?  Don\'t wanna break it if the first few thousand mile because I have put the wrong oil in!!!!!

Hi all, just purchased an 1992 FD3S which was on ebay:Giggle, reason being that it has had an engine re-build in April 09 with the invoice to prove etc etc, rang the guy who did the Re-Build (Steve Rivett) and he confirmed the work, so hopefully the car is mechanically sound :3Confused

The car is in need of re-spray I think so I will have some work to do!!!  Gonna pick the car up tomorrow, hope I have bought a good one.
