Hi all
Yes still here with my current FC Cab

It will be due to the odometer not reading.
We have seen this before causing the engine to cut at certain speeds in certain gears.
Replace the speedo guage and it will be ok.

Just to let you all know the true facts - we rebuiilt this engine free of charge and we would never leave out the manifold to block gaskets.

James,

Thanks for your positive comments about Jimmys on MRC, it is much appreciated and I\'m glad that you are pleased with your RX-7.

We will have to sort out the problem with coffee at our workshop though!

Sounds like a faulty differential mount

Sounds like it\'s bogging.
You will need to have the secondary fuel injectors cleaned and flow tested.

erm to be honest you might not need to rev as high to make the power, i dunno with more boost mine wanted to rev higher and it pulls to about 6500 which is were i shift, i will tell you after i get a dyno run in!

but my standard system would lean out at high end as the fuel delivery was not high enough.

i found my elford ran out of puff at high end too, my problem was the stock fuel pump dropping pressure at high end, so i put a bigger one in with a fuel pressure regulator as the carb is really sensitive to pressure change.

i just copied the 3rd gen design that clamps a bar between the two ally supports, just cut a bar to length, drill and bolt. paint if desired.

jobs a gooden.
