doors are a pain to shut because of the side skirts they probably could do with a trim if they are catching and the bonnet will open just let the engine bay cool down the cable stretches when its hot it\'ll open when it\'s cooled down could prob do with being changed for a new one or see if you can shorten the one thats on it?

enigine oil is black/ normal colour, dunno where it coulda come out from though i\'m still learning rx7... whats the OMP?

flooded my rx7 fd3 the other day so spark plugs out dry them off and in the oven they went slaped em back in and after a while of trying to start it it started and i took it for a spin and it was fine, but i noticed a patch where the car had been stood and there wash this black oily stuff on the ground not alot like but it smelt of petrol??? not sure if it came from my car or a car that was there before as it was on the road....
 
what could that be? breather blocked and spat it out maybe??

Looking at the threads and from the experience I had with mine the best way is to remove the dash and then swap out the heater assembly. It is supposed to be possible without pulling the dash out but it must be a serious squeeze.

could you post a pic of the matrix for me? and it\'s dimentions?

i currently am running without a heater matrix as it was leaking so i blocked it off but it\'s freezing out there at the min and i have to change it back
 
does anyone know if one out of a mx5 or similar will fit? so i can buy something brand new instead of second hand to put in it

my rex has taken a knock in the past on that side and the wing is full of filler so i\'m gone get it sorted proper cheers for the info

hi all is there some sort of spring inside the hinge of the petrol flap to make the flap open or a piece of metal? mine is just a hinge and never opens when i pull the lever?? some people say there is n some say there isnt??

my rx7 fd3s is pretty standard it had a dump valve and blitz induction kit and a aftermarket cat back exhaust, question is can i just rip out my standard intercooler and just replace it with a nice front mounted new one? or would i need one of those hand commander thingys....

mine is registered on the v5 as a 1300 cc and i get cheap tax is like 68 quid for 6 months
