Colours/special paint etc

I\'ve heard that you can get glaze\'s put over a paintjob, is this true?  What sort of effects can be had by doing this?

 I should be getting mine resprayed in black but was wondering if I could get any interesting (but subtle) effects by having a different colour glaze?

 Anybody got any pics/info/ideas?

You are right, there are quite a few effects you can do these days, but i think they look a little Max Power. It is basically all in the laquer, you can get like flakes which reflect the light to give different colours etc over the black, greens, purples, golds etc.
If you want some proper advise from a guy in the know, let me know and i will give you his number.
