I\'ve just been \'tinkering\' with the rex, and whilst sitting in there I turned on the ignition and received the usual beeping and seatbelt light flashing.  But when I came to lower the windows they would only move when the seatbelt light was illuminated!! What\'s up with that?  It\'s never done that before.  Tried putting on  the seatbelt, and the beeping stopped, but the light continued to flash, and the window still only moved in time with the light!!

Help?

Good luck, sounds like electrical gremlins to me.

Ah well, thank god for that.

I thought it\'d be something simple!!! :rollin

Well I did have the instrument panel out and disconnected.  Is it possible that I put that particular multiplug in upside down? (plug near the seatbelt light)

Ok.  So after removing the instrument cluster again, checking and re-checking all of the multiplugs.... Still beeping etc.

Next look for a loose earth or multiplug under the dash... No success.

So I wandered back upstairs to seach the forum for possible answers.  I was a few seconds sat down when there was a knock at the door, it was a trio sent by god himself to hand me a leaflet.  :o    After dispensing with them in my usual polite manor, I followed them down the stairs as they passed the rex.

I got back into the car, turned the key, and listened to the beeps.  And then they stopped!  The seatbelt light went out.  I gingerly pressed the window switch... The window glided down in one smooth movement!!

I may not be a believer myself, but it seems the rex is, and I think I\'ve just been a witness to a mini mirical!!!
