Does any body know what litres / hour the FD fuel pump is rated for? I have a Mazda 323 GT-R, and my pump is rated for 100 litres / hr, I heard that the RX7 one fits straight in, I just want to check the capacity before I go ahead and get one.

Thanks :)

Hope that helps

The Supra Twin Turbo pump is also a direct replacement for the third gen one and it flows more , they are both Nippondenso so it should fit your 323 as well (presuming the 3rd gen one fits that is)

can you post some piccies of your car ... I\'ve got a 323 1.3 SE hatchback as my daily driver,

Thanks Mike + Mike. I can get an FD pump fairly easily, and it looks like it does flow more than mine, and more than enough for the power I have - currently just over 300 BHP, and a little more still to come, although I\'m only aiming at 320 - 330.

The website that hosts my pictures is down at the moment :( Once it\'s back up, I\'ll post a link. It\'s not a patch on an RX7 for looks, but it\'s a little different from the usual Scooby / Evo / GTiR type of car :D.

you can upload photos here ... 1 per post though and limited to 1.5Mb

Hi and welcome.

As a 323 fan have you heard of any 323 Rotary\'s in Britain ?

hmmmm, how much does a 323 gtr go for ?

323GT-R

CLive, I havn\'t seen or heard of any in the UK, there are a few elsewhere in the worl though. Since the car is 4wd, all the gear to fit a rear axle and prop is already there, I think there are major bulkhead mods needed though.

Mike, sore point at the moment. I payed ~£5K for mine last year, which was the going rate at the time. The prices have dropped a lot since then, 2 friends are importing at the moment for around £3.5K. Some you win, some you lose :(. I doubt the values will change much now, as it\'s increasingly hard to find cars in Japan.

we didnt get that 323 her in the states, we never get cool cars .

here\'s the one we did http://www.2751engineering.com/323.html

Left to right

Daves Skoda Rapid (used to have an alfa 2 litre on twin dell\'s , but thats moved to his other car so its back to the 1300)

My 323 , Standard appart from a 6 foot key scratch :reallymad. oh and mx5 steel wheels to get a decent amount of rubber on the road

Dans Cavaliar, decked out for 12 car rallies (aka the red shed :D )

Marks 998hp mk1 fester  (well the number 998 features somewhere in the spec )

According to Jaustech in Aus, the fuel pump from the Cosmo 20B has a greater flow capacity again than the RX7 one. It would probably cost more to get one of those through Mazda over here than an aftermarket upgrade RX7 TT pump, but maybe the info would be useful to somebody. :)
