Sorry I won't be able to attend Combe this year - I'll be on my way back from a trip to the US that weekend.

Hi Casey we are unable to come along with the RX8 or Rx7 due to mechanical problems we will be attending but in our everyday car and park in the public carpark. Kind regards John.

Sorry to hear you can't bring either of your cars John, but glad to hear you can both make it to the event

Everyone should have received an email with their stand "mirror hanger", our stand position location and some instructions for the day. You should also have your entry "E-ticket" for site entry, which was sent when you paid for the event a while back.

I plan to post up a final set of summarised info later today. If there are any questions after that, please get in touch!

Less than a week to go!!

Some information that might help your preparations....

Below is the stand layout plan we will aim to work from. You will have received a "RED GATE CAMP MAP" with your stand mirror hanger. The plan below is an expanded view of Area M5, M6, M22-M26 on that map.

We have a great area to share with the RX7FB.com club at the bottom of the banking, between the track and access road. The layout is only my suggestion, it may be on the day that a different layout would work better. There is plenty of space to work with.


PLEASE aim to arrive no earlier than 7.30am, to allow the Events Team to set up the marquee, gazebo, refreshments gear, and mark out the stand.


Points to note:

• Refreshments (1 or 2 breakfast bacon rolls), water and soft drinks will be available. There will also be tea & coffee, but please BRING YOUR OWN MUG - only a limited supply will be available on the day. Members are most welcome to bring cakes, etc, to share.
  
• Refreshments are FREE to fully paid RX-OC Members, others will be required to contribute £5 if you wish to partake - still a lot cheaper then the trade vans! Cash would be good, else paypal or I can take card payments on my phone on behalf of the club (only if I have a signal!).
  
• Bring your own camping chair(s) to relax in the Club Marquee, which we are welcome to use.

Thank you to Malcolm for the orgaisation and all of you that came along.

I thought going back to this area was better and it was good to see new faces and catch up with members who have loved their Rotary's for what seems like forever.

Still cant believe, both myself and some of you have been to every since JDM started some 25 years ago !

Well done on that achievement Clive  I have attended most, but missed maybe 3 or 4 along the way.

I think we had a fabulous location, with plenty of space too. Thankyou all for your support and presenting such a variety of rotaries in stunning condition.

I thoroughly enjoyed my day and had a great time on track with all the other rotaries.

Many congrats to Mark on his car being selected for the "Top 50 Cars of the Show" parade laps.
