Yep. If you allow me to share your soap box, Jamie: The political response to the environmental crisis seems to primarily be the launch of new corporate business opportunities by increasing production (and pollution) to new heights. While their fat cat mates fill their coffers, politicians distract the public by making them feel the pressure of so-called "new environmental policies".

Shortening the lifespan of existing engines by accelerating their replacement by 1 billion electric cars won't bring emissions down and it certainly won't save the environment. Producing one new car (electric or otherwise) still pollutes as much as running a small diesel for 7 years...

Ulez is a legal theft and we the British people are responsible for these shortcomings!

When you have an MOT for the vehicle, then why do you need ulez?

I just hope people vote next time carefully!

I live in London and my weekends are greatly disturbed. I would rather feed a hungry, home a homeless than giving money to a money making mayor!

If we stand together, politicians can't do anything against pur will.
