I've stopped posting on flaming Friday coz I'm getting paranoid about the heat of the exhaust and a fibreglass car.

Saw a post on Facebook where a bond bug just melted to the ground roadside and left a twisted chassis.

Been researching zircotec ceramic coatings, heat shielding, loads of different items.

The old exhaust wrap ain't such a good product by all accounts

Made me wish I plumbed in a fire extinguisher

I must admit Jamie although you manifold is a work of art i do share you sentiments. I only burnt my shin once on the westory exhaust. The collectors get as hot as hell. There piston hot then theres rotary hot.
Defo coat it. Clives coating was amazing. All heat retained. It aint cheap but i think a must for your design.

I made a footwell "box" out of this after blistering my foot

I have had Racing Beat manifolds done in the past for customers and I'm sure it wasn't crazy money like that.

Normally the only accurate way of getting a quote on a manifold is to send it off to them.
How did you get that figure.

The length of each header, approx 45" each header..... so 135" in total.
