Possibly a dimb/silly question ....are these worth the money? One has popped up for sale and contemplating another upgrade

Well, for FC, I think they are. Stock part is ridicilous. Altough they are expencive, I think they are must, if you are trying to get any more horses

Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

Thanks @re japi.
Any views on if it's safe bolt-on without the map being tweaked (accepting limited benefits will be gained)?

It's not detrimental and won't make any difference to a stock engine, but will help when you're trying to get more out of it.

It should be safe bolt on. Mapping is not needed. As said above, it doesent do anything on stock engine, exept looks better

Umm, so your engine is not stock? I wonder how much that stock elbow restricted air flow...

Well the one was watching sold so the hunt goes on before I can answer that question   My standard twins are maxed out for reliability so may not make any real difference until they're swapped

Well, I dont see that new elbow making much differense with stock twins. Cause they cant flow much, so there is already some "restriction" in boost side.

However, it might change engines behaviour, like picking up throttle and boost, after lift off.

That being said, I dont know your setup. Everything effect to everything. And Im not that specialized to turbo stuff.

Anyhoo, that one part (greddy elbow) is difficult, cause its lots of money for small lump of alu. For FC its a must, cause FCs stock is ridicilous. For FD with stock twins, I simply dont know. All I can say is, if you can get it cheap, get it
