Well it's MOT time tomorrow! I Think she's done about 100 lockdown miles since the last years test so

she's not broken anything in self imposed isolation

Well she's passed

. Advisory on front brake pads wearing a little thin but a brake upgrade is already planned for later this year so that's all good with me

What wasn't quite so good was a misfire when boosting

. Unplugged twinspark and misfire went away

...... so Oracle's of all things rotary - any ideas on what I should look at first (second or third.....

)? Could a dodgy earth be the culprit or a coil pack not up to handling a stronger spark?

FD Coils are very very good without any help and reliable.

Over the last 20 years we have sold just one set @ £1100 !,

If the mifire has gone by unpugging the HKS unit I would say your sorted

Hi Jon. Yep the little red light was glowing. Didn't have much time to investigate before mot but also seemed to idle faster than normal/when unplugged (not sure if that's coincidence tho).

Other than the light and a good earth i cant really offer any more advise. Sounds like its duff unfortunately.

Other than that cover off and see if any off the electronics looking funky? Dry solder joint etc.
