It's amazing what former Mazda employees have been holding on to. We have a lot to thank former Mazda employees for.  :notworthy:

Slo-owly piecing it together. meanwhile it's already sleeting horizontally at +2C. Plenty of frost on the long term forecast and the dreaded salt trucks will be out any time now...  ::)

Got all the most important rubber parts, but some of the bushes I received were the wrong size. Fortunately the old ones were in surprisingly good nick and could be kept.

Oh that's chilly  - waiting our long awaited uk summer weekend of 26 degrees

Lowered 1,5" on the front now. Looks so right, you wouldn't guess it's not factory.  :D
This ride height was only available in the Japanese domestic market (Sport and GS II models).

Went back to the "dentist's" today. Seems I'd cured only 7 out of 9 faults. Unfortunately, Noriaki still brakes unevenly. I wouldn't have noticed, I don't use the middle pedal much  :))
But have to overhaul those calipers over winter. That and some fresh brake fluid should do the trick, hopefully.

The other fault is a mystery of Hercule Poirot proportions: Water leak. From under the clutch housing on the right-hand side. There ARE no water hoses on that side of the engine.  :dontknow:

Only reservoir that side is the windshield washer bottle, but that feels completely dry. The hoses for the heater are on the left-hand side of the engine bay and they both feel bone dry as well. And radiator water level looks ok, too. So no clue what is going on. Any ideas anyone?

An elderly American lady tourist came walking past today:
–What's that you got in the garage, is it a Dodge?

I told her yes, my Charger R/T shrunk in the car wash.  :D

Last spin of the season yesterday. First frost today. New stance looks good, just have to drop the rear to the same level now.

Noriaki in the snow (ok, then: slush). No regular feature. Going back up on stands now.

Great progress, and looking really good - liking the lower front end  :sign0098:

Can't help with advice on the curious water leak, very odd!

The temperatures here plummeted last weekend, but not as bad as your temps! We had a very welcome warm September and early October, so can't complain.

BTW, Kimi 3 booked in for MOT tomorrow. Not expecting any issues, but with the age of these cars, you never know what I might have missed..... Fingers crossed....
