We are trying to get this organised again and it has now been changed to Saturday 15th August.  You can buy your tickets here the date willl currently show the 26th July but this will be amended to Saturday 15th  August.

I am trying to get it so we have a "Rotary" stand and have been advised to meet up in the car park opposite the main museum entrance will be open for you as a meeting point.

The organisers has advised that once you’re all parked there then drop me a call and I’ll get you parked as a club no problem. If you’ve got a few stragglers then I can leave you extra space.

So who is likely to now attend this event?

LIST:

  • Clive & Lisa - RX4
  • casey - RX7 Gen 1
  • LynneE - RX7 FD
  • LINAS - RX7 FD

Malcolm, are my tickets still valid?

No, the RX-8 OC made the decision to refund all payments made into their shop. Please check you did receive your refund. They didn't want to risk being seen to be directly arranging a social gathering, in contravention of current rules,

You'll need to purchase a ticket direct from the Yakushi organiser. I think he is banking on the covid-19 situation continuing to improve and therefore the rules on outside gatherings being relaxed prior to this event date.

Clive - put me down for this one  :)

 :13: Booked my ticket  :)

Amended link to purchase tickets in first post, so it goes via the British Museum site, instead of direct to Eventbrite.  That way, any event changes might be seen, prior to booking

Added names list to first post.

LynneE

Hello!
I'm off work on that date, so have booked a ticket. If I have to work late on the Friday, I may have to cancel at the last moment, but fingers crossed, I will make it!  ;)
It'll be great to get the car out to an event again!
Hope to see you all soon.
Cheers,
Lynne

Good to read that more Rotary ownwers are looking to attend this first event of the year   :icon_thumleft:

Just to remind people that your ticket also gives you access to the museum  :sign0098:

This event allows owners and enthusiasts of Japanese cars to meet and show their vehicles outside the Museum. All kinds of Japanese cars are welcome including classic, modern and custom models.

This is a 'cars and coffee' style meet with the added bonus of Museum entry with your ticket.

Plan of the event area.  As we have not booked as a club, the plan is to meet up say by 9.30 in the "Convoy Meeting area" and then hopefully all be parked up togther suitably 2 metres apart  :13:
