Glad to hear you're getting your 1st Gen back on the road. I'm chuffed as my Series 3 1st Gen was due for it's MOT in May, which has now been moved to November with this 6 months extension announced today. Not much chance of driving it soon though, the current circumstances

Too much work, no time for cars. 2014 probably still had a RX8 back then, then went to a Yellow convertible TII, then stopped for a bit, the usual I promised my wife no more RX7's. Then bought this <what i thought was ok> about 2 years ago. Been lots of parts to find / replace, then an unexpected engine rebuild, then the welding. I have chosen to ignore what it has cost me so far and probably only driven 200 miles.

I just love the 1st gen's for looks, 3rd gen's for performance.

Absolutely!

As you'll be aware, the 1st gens are now getting very rare in the UK, so well worth the effort to get her running I reckon. I love driving mine, when I get a chance, so retro, yet drives so well (apart from the steering!).

I've resized your photo to 1024 pixels wide. One downside of this forum is that pictures are not automatically resized. They display better on most devices when 1024 pixels wide.
