He has a close ratio FD box in the car, fine once its underway as 1st gear is far too high for an RX-8.
The cost is also a bit prohibitive as it cost 3K
He originally bought it for his FD but never fitted it.

Btw, local company here has done first prototype set Dogbox gears for FD and Renny 5 speed.
Gearing is: 1st 2,56 2nd 1,8 3rd 1,39 4th 1,14 5th 1,0
Box and components will be tested atleast a year before going on sale. This company has lots of experience from Toyota boxes and they are really reliable...

At this point I dont know who will be testing it. I reckon it will be either 550 horsed street FD, or SemiPP semistreet FD...

Ref the "wrong video" - I was thinking, what a Public Liability Insurance nightmare! People wandering inside the tape lines, seemingly oblivious to the bike careering towards them
